Belt Blues
I'm just popping out now...
...to go and find the person who designed the belt layout on MTD ride-on mowers. And I am going to shove my largest monkey wrench (which you need to change the belts) right up his sadist arse.

Re: Belt Blues
I don't want to be told to get a different mower. I want the home address of the MTD belt designer....chunky butt wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 7:46 pm What can I say buddy, got a proper mower mind you saying that, had a countax before and that used to mange led courroie...... Well bully for you Helicopterman. I'm truly delighted for you. Long live your John Deere and all who sail in her. I hope you spend many more glorious years mowing away using the same belt, while laughing demonically at those of us who spend half a day of our lives every year swapping ours.
Meantime I just spent another 2 hours underneath my fucker, trying to change the least accessible and awkward belts in the known universe, clearly designed specifically to test me personally to the point of hysteria and bleeding knuckles. And I want fearful retribution and vengeance. If I meet Mr MTD I will get medieval on his arse...

Re: Belt Blues
That's it, a very selfish attitude that.....has anybody ever thought about how the belt is actually feeling in all of this.....its got feelings to you know, not its fault it has to fit on a mtd....self self self
