Hey ho, needs must
BUGGER it's a slippery slope now, first grass cut of the year. Grass has grown mental, luckily had two helpers on hand.

Re: Hey ho, needs must
I’ve had to buy a Flymo as our ground is too soft for mower wheels at the moment...we got rid of the ride-on a while ago as it wasn't really necessary and walking is better for me.
2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro sadly gone due to ill health.
Now on a 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X but may be fitter next year.

Re: Hey ho, needs must
Blast your eyes, Steve - looks like I should get out there too. I have a couple of hours of picking up fallen oak branches, sticks/twigs etc first. And a few kilos of labrador shit if I can find it (nice work if you can get it).
But there's a storm coming Sunday, so I'd better get on with it. Time to break out Farah (which is the name of our mower) and do some laps....

Grass cutting and gardening.....how quaint!
Residing in holiday lets, Premier Inns and house sits negates all of that.....
I permanent home would be nice though. Roll on property purchase completion. Fingers crossed.

Re: Hey ho, needs must
OK, you got me Steve. Mowing all done. Only managed a level 4 for the first cut, and I got some cool wheelspin going on here and there.
I'm awaiting someone saying "What has this got to do with ABR?"
Well here goes. Steve and I are embarking on a RTW ride-on mower journey. Aren't we Steve? I said, AREN'T WE STEVE?
We will mow a neat line around the globe. I've already prepared throw over panniers for my MTD Briggs and Stratton adventure mower, and I'm sure Steve will go for alumnium 'lawnatech' boxes on his Kubotasaki.
Road of Bones? We'll piss it....

Re: Hey ho, needs must
I don’t dislike gardening per se but I do begrudge the time spent on it which could be spent on other more important things (bikes) and then it still keeps growing back - the garden that is, which uses even more valuable time

We're gonna make serious money from this, Steve, when we sell the film rights to 'The Long Mow Round'chunky butt wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 12:19 pm Oh yes I'm in dave, just adventure prepped her....might even go for mulching blades and obvious parasol![]()
