Engine bars wanted please. don't mind if paint flaking or cracking .
getting them powder coated.

Hi BigAl,

I have some engine bars for a r21 year 2001 r1150gs I took off my bike as I wanted a full upper and lower set I think they are Fehling make.

Let me know if these are of interest to you?

They are solid and appear undamaged with all mounting brackets but have a bit of surface rust on them.

I've got a rugged roads plate right where the connecting bar fits on the bars.
Any chance of some close up photos of that area please, so I may figure the plate to bars out.

Hi Quaycrest,
Do they fit underside of the bash plate please.

Hi Big Al,

The bars mount at three points one under the tank onto the front subframe, one just above the rear of each cylinder and the last one is the mount bracket just above the exhaust cross pipe. So no fixings to underside of bashplate.

Hi quaycrest.
I have a crud catcher mounted on the front cover.
How close is the joining bracket to the front engine cover please.
Was wondering if the bars would fit behind the cover.

Hi Al,

From memory and looking at the images I provided I am sure its pretty close to the engine with little space between the bracket and block. Would the crud catcher fit over the bracket or could longer stand-offs be made?
