Hi there, I'm not bad at editing, I use Adobe Lightroom CC, if you want to send me the photo I'll do my best for you. Do you want my email address..?

As someone who knows nothing about this , I feel I'm ideally qualified. I used paint.net and it took me 5 minutes to fix some old photos which had faded to red back to something that was quite viewable. I was very pleased. It's free. As long as there is some colour it should be fairly easy to lighten them up . Photoshop and all that are great programs , but far to complicated to achieve a simple result.

Hi Steve thanks will have a look at that. Peter kindly saved the day and in 5 minutes made the photo usable.
I am guessing the morale of this story is to learn how to use the camera properly ............... whisk i will do .......Photography for dummies is on order.
