Waterproof oversuit/jacket/trousers - recommendations?
Can anyone recommend a waterproof oversuit or jacket/trousers combination? I'm now on my third set...having wrecked the trousers getting in and out of them in my boots by the side of the road . I want something light (rather than a full blown adventure suit, which I've got) and I wear it over my summer jacket and riding jeans. Thanks.

Oxford rain seal or Richa 2 piece... Army gortex is crap unless on a trail bike as when at speed the hydroscopik effect forces water through the tiny pores in gortex....
I love the Richa as it seals at cuff and also leg has wide velcro bit for mx boots... Rolls up easy and drys in minutes with a good shake..

I'm with Tramp on the Richa two piece; i'm using the rain master jacket and trousers over the top of my textiles and they're totally bombproof. Been dry in many a downpour and since the trouser bottoms are wide i can pull them on over my W2's no problem.

Just got some Held Tempest waterproof trousers.
Wide zipped leg gussets so easy to put on/off over normal/motorcycle clothing.
Reflective and hi-viz stripes down the sides.
Highly recommended.

Got the Richa trousers bloody good but as a dual layer they can be a bit warm. Even at this time of year. Legs open right out at cuff so quite quick and easy to get on.
Ive tried the army gortex stuff it is good for on the trails etc but at speed they do not hold up well.

Nice one, thanks . I like Richa stuff, I've got a pair of their winter gloves .
(I should have said that this is for road riding only).

Yep nothing wrong with richa, bought few years ago and still good, and I'd controversially say, as good as my klim gear for road use.

I've got a KLIM blade jacket which good and along with the Richa rain trousers has kept me bone dry in my daily commute to hospital over the last month. Same can't be said about my forma bootschunky butt wrote: ↑Tue Nov 05, 2019 4:05 pm Yep nothing wrong with richa, bought few years ago and still good, and I'd controversially say, as good as my klim gear for road use.
