Hopefully the RD04 counts as a proper one too.....in fact all of the 750s should I reckon.

Miss-use of the @ name, IMHO. Calling the CRF1000/1100 an @ is just wrong.

I concur with this.... with the CRF1000, Honda got the naming quite wrong IMO. The 'proper' @'s (all XRV650/750's) were of course all V-twins, just like the NXR factory bikes put in the Dakar Rally. By the time the CRF came along, the rally was being run in S America, so at the best it should have been named the S America Twin. But to be consistent, it should also have been a single to follow the format of the factory bikes (maybe with a bit more capacity than the 450cc limit). To call it an Africa Twin is a mis-nomer; it's an imposter trading on past history which I suppose is understandable for marketing purposes.

Ive got a 2018 ATAS DCT and love it but this new one has really got me tempted to trade up.

Motorbike prices are going ridiculous for what is (to most) essentially a toy?
