Lake District routes.

Post by Brenhden »

Hi all,

I've been away for a while but next week I think I'll head up to the Lake District for a ride around good roads and see if I can swim in all the lakes. Which are the best roads/routes and where are the best places to stop for a cup of tea and a bag of chips, also any good campsites where I can have a fire?

Cheers

Bren
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Greetings,

I think that Haggs Bank might be worth investigating as very motorcycle friendly;

Not sure what type of route you want but look on ViewRanger, I have published one from Dockray to Keswick which might be suitable. Alternatively contact the really nice people at Cumbria TRF;
