A lovely route down the Fosse Way would get you some easy lane experience. Just be careful with the river crossing as it can sometimes be pretty deep :)

Thank you Chris! I just looked that up here

Looks great, comes off that earlier route I posted I think.

My WK will likely be heading that way very soon! The river crossing you mention is the Avon I take it? Looks like it can be routed round easily if I get the wilies :)

Absolutely, there is a small bridge that you can cross to avoid the water crossing if you need to. Just be aware it’s also used by lots of dog walkers and horse riders πŸ‘

Hi Paul,

Welcome aboard from Stroud, have you been up the Fosse Way yet? Great bikes those.

Cheers

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

For sure! Thanks for getting in touch. Probably be heading up there soon, I'll send you a PM beforehand (assuming it isn't one of those impulse decisions on the day ofc.)

Thank you! We're just round the corner from each other and I'm often in Stroud (especially Saturdays for the market).

Haven't been to the fosse way yet but Chris just recommended it and it looks great, Cirencester to Bath looks good. I'll be heading over there in the next couple of weeks and company would be appreciated if you fancy it?

Thanks Richard, yes I've been in touch with them and had a friendly and helpful response, also just joined the TRF. Will be popping along to their next meet.
