Im going to say this yet again, do you know why the referendum wasn't legally binding? Because we don't live in a direct democracy, we live in a representative democracy. The tory government promised to respect the result if elected in the last GE and guess what, they didn't get a majority, they are a minority government propped up by a small group of MPs they had to pay off. May hasn't commanded a majority in the HoC since and, according to surveys, neither has Leave.

Don't you love the bad grammar and punctuation that always comes with images like this? That first sentence isn't even a question!

What is so difficult to understand when it comes to apostrophes? They are used to replace letters or make something possessive, not to pluralise a word... it's not difficult.

Using a House of Commons letterhead makes this look so official, though!

Next week's MEP elections are being widely regarded as a virtual second referendum on leaving the EU so when the Brexit party wipes the floor (it will ) then what happens next?, will the eternal losers still be demanding another go at it?, probably yes, they have them shown themselves as far from gracious in defeat.

As for that other new party what was it now the change party or something like that, an odd name as they are campaigning for things to stay the same

the EU elections are the biggest farce this country has ever gone through, that I know of.
I am shocked and disgusted that the UK politicians have let it reach this stage.
Also that the great british public is going along with it.
Democracy appears to have died in this country.
Though of course there is the silent majority that may yet salvage some self respect for the UK.
So many traitors to the concept of democracy!
Some traitors even to their own party.
Change UK is so pathetic that they even are willing to forgo their own seats, eventually, and combine with other party ideologies, to pervert the will of the people.
And this talk of a second referendum I find totally sickening
yet so many main and small parties are putting it forward as a `solution`
hoping to reverse the peoples vote of 2016.
Tho the tories have kept this fiasco alive in that vey bid,
labour is looking to their own future power hopes,
the fence beginning to get very creaky.
What happened to GREAT BRITAIN ??
did all the big brains leave in the brain drain of the sixties etc?
leaving Jeremy kyle to take over
and leave Jeremy corbin the only bike seat manufacturer?

Interesting that, yet again, the UK will get another prime minister it never voted for. Obviously we all know that the system allows it, and you vote in GEs for the party not the leader, but with this upcoming tory internal election it will be over 50% of all PMs who never had a public mandate.
