Hoping to, Tim

Re: Salisbury plain possibly 19/5
Hi, assuming bike starts on Saturday I’ll be there. Did one a while back. Cheers Mike

Something has come up so I am going to have to put this off for now.
Sorry for inconvenience to any that were thinking of coming.

Re: Salisbury plain postponed 19/5
Found the source of my woes.
Started bike up to take to station quick for a fill up and found coolant pissing down side of engine.
I have never know it before but single ear hose clamp had somehow stretched and wasn't clamping tight .
So have stripped bike back to try and effect a good repair. But this is a carbs off job.
It's gonna take time
I might make it out for a bit tomorrow if I have a long late night in garage.
Sorry guys
Next Month???

Re: Salisbury plain postponed 19/5
Depending when your thinking next month and what I'm working I could be up for a weekend on the plain, I'd have to find somewhere to stay thoughzimtim wrote: ↑Sat May 18, 2019 6:45 pm Found the source of my woes.

the travel lodge amesbury is £34 ? at countess services.

too expensive for me tho .. I camped at the swan pewsey last year at £6 per night .. but shit tho .. I mean dog shit everywhere on the grass? .. pub was good.
would want a cleaner camp site .. any suggestions … north or south of the plain ?
and NO .. not the centre of the firing range

I went to camp there two years ago and found it an utter mess and moved on...
