Somewhere in the High Atlas (KTM 1290; Kawa Tengai!)

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

Somewhere in the High Atlas (KTM 1290; Kawa Tengai!)

Brilliant Morocco vid from Ian Chappel.
I was in the same area a few weeks earlier. Looks like winter came back for one last look.
If you know the book, he's doing MH19 north then MH18 east (+ side excursion) before turning off at the Cathedral for the brilliant gorge route to Anergui.

Great vid ( except for the music ). Some good drone footage but I thought private drone use was strictly prohibited in Maroc ? Tales of confiscation and fines etc.

I recognised some of that...was there in the mid 1990s.

It was all Bedford lorries and Peugeot pick-up trucks on the roads back then.

Yeah that's my memory of Morocco and Algeria, and much of the Sahel too (Niger, Mali etc). Loads of peugeot estates. And I took a few trips in them, crammed alongside kids (human and goat), chickens and farm produce. Amazing where the drivers managed to get those cars - almost nowhere was out of bounds.

Good video. I never went up as high as the snow. Great stuff.

You are right Nico. Ian assures me it was a kite.
