Good weather meant I'd go for a day ride loop once I got kitted up. This is a favourite route of mine.
I'd head to see snow and come home via a twisty route so as to not come back on myself too much. An ideal day ride if you find yourself anchored in the region for a spell. If you want to take longer the gray route is a perfect super moto route. Absolutely full of twistes though forest.
The road from Aramits to Arette to the ski station is good surfaced twisties and you can tramp on nicely to said station. There's a few tight off camber bends toward the summit.
Stop and watch the world go by......explore to the end of the road.
To head home I'd ride back down via Ste Engrâce to Tardets before riding back through Aramits.
Ancient 11th century chapel
Park up at the chapel and go for a dander if you wish.
On down there's the Gorges of Kakouetta that you pay to walk around...car park opposite entrance.

Ideal picnic place not too far on down on your RHS.
For info I came across this camp site just as you enter Tardets....the good thing about it is that it's far from the main road so I'd say quiet of an evening and morning. Also there's picnic tables and chairs to use dotted about which would assist us bikers. A short dander into Tardets will see a small town centre with the usual shops along with a fuel station.
Village name and road that it's on.
Tardets just over the bridge... i.e. Pont d'Absence.
Once home a cold beer
