Jak* wrote:If I read the info on the post office site correctly in order to go to Portugal, I will need two IDPs. A 1968 one that covers France and Portugal and a 1949 one that covers Spain. So an extra £11 plus photos etc. My insurance company have sent an email saying I may need a green card. All of this is assuming we leave with no deal. If not I might not need any of this. Can you imagine if you were faced with this on a much larger scale, say running a freight business.
What a fiasco.

Brexit was about 'taking back control'

Al it's doing is increasing costs for me and you
It's OK JB, it's all for the Greater Good..... or something. :(
Are you really sure??

All I see is extra cost and complexity
I am totally sure, I mean illustrious figures known for their broad thinking view like Rees Mogg, IDS and Boris Johnson have said so... Who am I to argue with such men ;)

Yep, still waiting for any Breiteer to inform me of any advantage of any Brexit outcome, that might affect me in anyway. As I’m not travelling until the end of May, I’ll wait to see the outcome before I splash out on an IDP, in the hope of saving myself £5.50.
Do please pass on any such info of the advantages of a Brexit.... I have not seen any either I am afraid... :o

Ordinary man won't see a benefit to Brexit-just the rich upper class
We buy things we don't need

With money we don't have

To impress people we don't even like

That at least would be a start, what advantages do you expect them to see?

Paying less tax seems to be their current starter.

Must look into this. How many IDCs would you need to fork out for for a Grand European road trip?

So if we leave the EU then rich will pay less tax, I'd not heard that as one of the arguments for leaving? Don't get me wrong, I'm firmly in the remain camp but it would be interesting to at least know one genuine benefit that would come out of Brexit.

I’m pretty sure that there are only two types. So my answer would be two, maximum.
And is £5.50 really ‘forking out?’

There are three types, the french one covers everywhere else apart Lichtenstein which for some reason has its own. No idea why but it’s also £5.50 so didn’t bother with that one
