“Can I have a coffee pleasel seems to have changed along the way.

It’s now “can I get a skinny choca flat double mocha cappuccino American?”

I don’t like coffee, at all, so I just ask for tea....but even that needs specifying these days.

But the bit that still grates with me is the “can I get..”. No you can’t, the person behind the counter is employed to get it for you, you aren’t allowed behind the till, to the coffee machines to “get” your chosen multi worded cup of beverage!!

I like a double esspresso with a small shot of water in it.
In France it’s a cafe longue (sp?) but in NZ it’s a short black. We have no hope. My wife is thrilled that she's found flat white as that is pretty much the same everywhere.

I am still taping tv programs on my sky box. If I miss owt I just rewind it
