Well done on keeping the same bike and keeping it going.
good mileage a single only needs half as much spannering though only kidding would love to hear about the Yams service record reputedly strong things especially with the new interesting cousin on the way.

Hi Paul
Great to hear the 1200 is still going strong. I sold the 1100 I had in Bulgaria this time last year - it had a 170K miles on the clock (I owned it for nearly 20 years) it was still going but needed a few jobs doing and we had an Easter trip to Morocco booked so I bought a 1200 TC.
I was sad to see it go but the chap that bought it spent some time and money on it and sold it on eBay - nice to know it’s got a new lease of life.

Not so easy to change after so much time, tar, and dust uh. How do you rate the TC Lighter, more go, but better? How did the pair of you get on with Moroc any adventures to speak of, seems its a bit Marmite I dont like Marmite myself but Moroc >>>> . Say Hello to A for me. Paul.

‘A’ says a big hello back.

As sad as it was to see the 1100 go (no space to keep it) I must say I really like the TC. Smoother, feels lighter off road and that bit of extra power means you don’t have to think when overtaking fully loaded or in a tight spot.
A now rides a 1200 LC and loves it - even though she did 30K miles in 3 1/2 years on the 800 she never really gelled with it. As for adventures in Morocco, A was really glad she had the 1200 rather than the 800 - it’s a story best left to tell you in person over a beer :o

Hopefully see you some time.
