For all following this thread, Yamaha have just told me that they would like to use the ABR Festival 2019 as the event in which to launch the new Tenere 700 in the UK.
What this means is that before the bike even hits the UK dealers Yamaha will have a fleet of Tenere 700’s at Ragley Hall and all attending the Festival can take a test ride.
An ABR 1st.

Re: New Tenere 700
Do we need to book test rides, as if there's over 1000 attending, it might get a little fraught, and over subscribed

Right now it's looking like first come first serve for test rides with bookings being taken from 9am Friday morning. Can't confirm the number of bikes available as of today but I've been told there are going to be between 15 and 20 Tenere's on site.
