Hey Craig , as I said earlier if you need a hand with anything give me a shout . How many ride leaders are there so far ? I`m not very well aquainted with Ullapool area but if we are stuck !! I`m quite happy to take up tail - end charlie position for one of the bimbling groups .
Give me a shout anyhow

Hi Dave
Thanks for the offer of tail end charlie ..
You can join my bimble group , if you can stand the slow pace and many stops for photos /fags ...
I have updated the first post here with the members who have offered to help lead some of the ride outs .
We might need some more offers to lead , but you know us .. If we have issues we will just get on with it. No point in making it to structured, I am sure that quite a few people will just want to get out on the road and do their own thing..
But be good to cater to groups if need be.
Thanks Again
Craig

I will be looking for sweeping bends - great views - I smoke - love coffee - working on my photography and some great twisting. It will be an all dayer ride. I will be there Thursday with the English Troupe riding up, so happy to talk to anyone about the route and my style of doing things.

I still need a tail end Charlie - person would need to have a sat nav or know the route that I am going - I'd want to discuss the ride with them before setting off.
I use the 2nd rider drop off system - will explain that before the ride.

The google thingy doesn't seem to show a defined route! Is it just me being thick again or what?

Worked this time - 1st time just asked me to select an Edinburgh location!
Thats a good route, but your missing the very scenic leg from Sheildaig to Applecross via Kenmore & the coast
Cheers

Hi Craig, yes happy to lead a ride my preference would be on Saturday leading route #7 as I know the way well except for Loch Shin visitor centre but actually I am OK to lead or tail end any of the routes except the crazy long one to Skye and back.
Oh and you may want to edit routes 3 & 4 "Kinblochbervie"???????
edit.... given the nature of the road to Lochinver that bit will definitely be a bimble, the rest will be at a moderate pace. 2nd man drop off and all that also applies.
