Held in association with the Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross AX41 tyres, this year’s ABR Festival is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet.

The big news for 2019 is the move to a new location, the spectacular Ragley Hall and Estate in Warwickshire. Put simply the Festival has outgrown the old venue in Banbury and as much as we loved the setting the restrictions imposed at the old site could not be overcome.

Over the past couple of years, the ABR Festival has been a fantastic event and made so enjoyable thanks to the guys and gals who attended. The Festival has become a weekend of pure adventure biker fun, where you and other like-minded bikers can come together to enjoy camping, mingling, organised road ride outs, green lane ride outs, the on-site enduro tracks and in the evening, a healthy amount of beer, food and live entertainment.

The aim of this year’s Festival is to keep that same spirit and feel-good environment alive, but to spice things up with an improved experience and exciting extras.

The New Venue

Ragley Hall and Estate is the perfect central venue for the ABR Festival. It also offers acres of prime camping facilities and room for improving the facilities, attractions and events.

For starters, we’ve been given permission to set out a big bike, novice friendly ‘Adventure Trail’ through the grounds and woodlands. There’s a hilly section on the estate where we’ll be setting out an ‘Adventure Park’ featuring steep climbs, bomb holes and a water crossing for the more advanced rider.

In addition, we’ve negotiated free and exclusive access for all Festival goers to Little London Enduro Park which is just 4 miles from Ragley Hall so you can ride you bike on a challenging course in a non-threatening environment.

What's going to be at the ABR Festival?

Road Ride Outs: You don’t need to be an off-roader to be at ABR Fest as the access is directly off a main road. We’ll also be holding daily road ride outs and guides, which will be a fantastic chance to explore the best local roads, area and beauty with fellow ABR bikers. It usually ends up in being a bit of a laugh, and a great way to mingle with other bikers at the festival.

Green Lane Ride Outs: Ragley Hall is perfectly positioned for the Cotswolds and Warwickshire green lanes. We’ll be hosting daily green lane ride outs, led by TRF experts who know the very best routes in the area.

Manufacturers Test Bikes: Most all of the big motorcycle manufacturers will be joining us at the ABR Festival, and visitors will have the chance to test ride the latest models for 2019.

On-Site Adventure Trail: We’ll be mapping out an on-site, big bike friendly, off-road adventure trail where you can test your skills, push your limits, gain more confidence or improve your riding by practicing on a mix of dirt and woodland terrain. This is strictly for leisure riding on trails and not a competition, so we ask for no unlicensed enduro bikes.

On-Site Adventure Park: This on-site course at Goats Hill is for the more experienced rider and lets you choose from adrenaline pumping hill climbs, gnarly twists and bends to suit yours and your bike’s abilities. Once again this is strictly for leisure riding and not a competition, so we ask for no unlicensed Enduro bikes.

Little London Enduro Park: We’ve teamed up with Little London Enduro Park – which is 4 miles from Ragley Hall – and all Festival goers will have free and exclusive access to the endure course in a non-competitive and non-threatening environment. The perfect place to check out both yours and your bikes abilities.

Camping: There’s a huge, flat field set aside for camping and there’s going to be plenty of space for you to set up your home from home.

Camper vans: We have set aside space for vans and campers on-site, however once we reach the cut-off point that will be it. If you are thinking of bringing your van, book early.

Glamping: If you don’t fancy hauling a tent to the Festival and want a weekend of luxury camping then we’ve teamed up with Eve’s Tipis who’ll be providing pre-erected luxury tents. You’ll need to book your ABR Festival tickets first and then book up with Eve. You can check out Eve’s Tipis here. https://www.eves-tipis.co.uk/product/ad ... -festival/

Hotels: If you’re not into camping then there are a few hotels on the doorstep in Alcester and a huge range and choice in nearby Stratford upon Avon.

Food: There will be a wide range of street food vendors on-site, where you’ll be able to purchase food throughout the weekend. There are supermarkets, cash points, pubs and restaurants nearby in Alcester.

Entertainment: The rally is well known for being a good old-fashioned knees up in the evenings, and at this year’s ABR Festival we aim to keep that tradition alive. Come over to the main marquee and bar to enjoy a range of live music, games and a biker pub quiz. We’ll be adding lots more exciting events and attractions over the next few months.

Parking: If you have a camping ticket, you will be able to park your bike beside your tent.

Toilets: There will be ample on-site male and female toilet facilities.

Showers: We are planning to have showers on site.

First Aid: There will be a 24-hour fully manned First Aid station on-site for the duration of the Festival.

Security: There will be security staff on site at all times with the estate gates closed and manned during the night.

The important details:

Tickets: All this fun, excitement and biker goodness is available for a very reasonable price. Early Bird Weekender camping tickets are only £39 per person and a day pass (no camping) is £35 per person. All tickets are available to purchase via the ABR website.
https://www.adventurebikerider.com/even ... ival-2019/
Please note; you will not be able to turn up on the day without having purchased a ticket, as there will be no ‘on the day’ tickets and we cannot guarantee your access.

Dates: The festival will be held from Friday 12 July to Sunday 14 July 2019.

Venue: The venue’s address is; Ragley Hall, Alcester, Warwickshire. B49 5NJ. It’s easily accessible from the M40, M42 or M5 in the midlands, with clear routes from the main cities including London and Birmingham, as well as being easily reached from the western parts of the country.

Local amenities: Alcester is the nearest town, which is situated roughly one mile from the festival. Here, you’ll find supermarkets, garages, local hotels, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Just a little further afield is Stratford upon Avon which has a lot more of everything.

Children: Whilst we very much welcome children and families at the Festival, be aware that this is an adult focused motorcycle riding event with no children’s entertainment or facilities on-site.

Important information: Our off-road courses are leisure riding only. It is a fantastic opportunity for adventure bike owners to test their off-road skills in a non-competitive environment, so we ask for strictly no unlicensed ‘Enduro’ bikes on-site.
