From here we ride on over the odd gulley and washed out trails.........a pause to look then choose lines to ride around any washouts after the rains.....we arrive at a wee dried up river bed with a bit of dampness....doesn't take much to slide out.
We ride on where the trails snake off in to the distance and landscape opens out as far as the eye can see...great!!!!!

Re: EDC 2018 Maroc Africa, Ride Report.
We ride on to where the route turns to a graded road at cords....
N 32° 49.262'
W 003° 14.834'
Some were low on fuel so we went to village fuel at Anoual at cords.....
N 32° 40.941'
W 003° 05.937'
We pull in and wait for the owner to serve........
We ride on along tarmac to arrive at Talsint. There's a new hotel undergoing construction along with a new fuel station just as one rides in to the town on the LHS.
We ask around if there's another place to stay....it ends up being goofy so we fuel up properly and ride on, the taking the R601, Er Rachidia. I know it's a big town so we'll find an hotel there for sure.
Fuel here at
N 32° 18.239'
W 003° 27.413'
The road is graded and signposted out of the town......after a spell just as it's getting dusk it turns back in to a super, hard pack, stoney piste. We ride up over a col which consists of a few rocky zig zag turns before dropping down a 100m or so along rock steps and loose boulders. A great challenge!!!!
We arrive late and in true Maroc fashion not long after arriving a local dude leads us to check a couple of hotels. He jumps on behind me and we opt for the better hotel. We dump stuff and return with him in to the town centre where, of course, his friend owns an place where we can all get a meal at this late hour.
Once finished we head back..park our motos and go to sleep.

We all get up well rested and today will be an easy day to ride to Merzouga.
Hotel Tinit here
N 31° 55.014'
W 004° 27.300'
250MAD B&B...swimming pool if you want. Directly opposite is a fuel station. Some strange things for ornaments......
The last time I saw one of these was in a cartoon........
Crew up and off we go......Chubby needs oil.....fuel station opposite provides..handy.

Best bit of the whole trip that day, great rocky hills and that piste that ended up as a dark trail ride was brilliant, just challenging enough to stick in the mind without killing anyone, spot onWIBO wrote: ↑Mon Oct 29, 2018 8:43 pm We ride on to where the route turns to a graded road at cords....

D’0h!! That’s correct .... I’d forgotten... Bob pressed on and rode to Merzouga over the same tedious pass........of course, nobody noticed him missing.
