I have to ask - you have Land Rovers, a big barn and a nice motorbike in France: what do you do for a living?! I want to escape London and do all that!

Two bikes......I've a Gas Gas 300 for riding enduros also :D


Retired at 39 after 'a good break-away redundancy decision' was made.... :D

what size mitas e07 are folks using on the rear ...130 or 140 width and which one has the centre bar :o ....reminds me of the older k60 tyres...stupid idea :lol: :lol:

and is it safe to grind off the inner grippy thing on rear wheel...yep im all out of correct wording :oops: the bit that makes tyre changes a real bastard

Ahhhhh I see.......Like the serrated edge markings.....For the rear I just ride along a short distance slowly further......the tyre heats and flexes and I use the side stand to break the bead; works for me...never thought the edge things would have bearing on it........if you do buff them off get back to us to see if it changes anything eh?

.......the easiest is to leave it in to a tyre place when you can!!!! :lol:

It's the original e07 and Dakar that has the centre bar. Looks like the e07+ has no bar,and looks more like a tourance .
I'm running the original e07 in 130 on a Z ,but it's due to be replaced and think I'll go 140 in the newer + model this time, even though the mitas have increased in price quite a lot recently.
