Self-Cleaning ??

Post by daveuprite »

Got all excited when I saw this, so I bought one.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BETA-450-RR- ... 1438.l2649

But I've been waiting ever since for some kind of WD40 spray to apply itself and a stiff brush to pop out and do the business. Very disappointing.

So how does it really work?

And apparently there's such a thing as a 'self-cleaning oven'.

Well I think I'll own a herd of dragons and unicorns before I believe in that...

I expect it is referencing the indentations/scallops at the base of each tooth which are intended to squezze out the crap that compacts in that area.
They have been around for decades and probably help just a little bit, calling them self cleaning is simply the usual marketing bollox.

Greetings,

I have a sock and underwear drawer that does that, worked with at my parents' house, stopped when I moved out, then suddenly started again when I got married

My wife has a car that does the same thing, generally just after mine self cleans too

TTFN

Hugh.
