Hi All
Just back from 10 days riding round the Picos, and the TET (Trans Euro Trail) from Vado to Jaca via the Bardenas Desert. What a fantastic ride and the places are beautiful, and for those wondering what the TET is like to ride on big bikes, i would say its all doable, but but with loaded up 1000cc bikes it can be a bit tricky! (for the unexperienced) the weather does play its part, in the dry its fine but in wet conditions, which we did encounter the whole terrain takes on a new difficulty level, so be careful and take it easy and enjoy! however just the road riding is spectacular there with deep gorges with twisty roads to open mountain hairpins that you can see for miles if any other cars are coming (which most of the time they are not!) The Bardenas Desert is a weird and beautiful place, and the sun did eventually come out to play!
Here's a few pictures of the Picos trails we did, and mostly of the Bardenas (typical touristy pics hehe!) hope you like.

Re: TET Vado to Tudela
Thanks Russ, the Sotres trail and topo,s i got from you were spot on. I did however pull my hamstring making a schoolboy error when meeting up with some other lads to say hi, i stopped on an off camber road corner and there was no floor there! So struggling to hold the bike up the hamstring popped! So the bike went down and i went into (luckily for me!) A dry ditch lol......

Ah, I had no idea that was you Bond! it was good to meet you all, how was the rest of your trip? we all wondered each day where you lot would be, I bet it was amazing. And you were right it did get much trickier after we left you! our mate did get caught in a muddy off camber corner in a farm field, and we did miss out the river crossing bit you did so well, lol... mainly for time reasons, but the riding was superb. Cliff tops, Pine forests and vineyards all the way to the Bardenas, fantastic. Would love to have just kept on going really. Hopefully see you at the Rally!

TET Vado to Tudela
As a matter of interest.. i got 10 days worth of video footage from this trip, what is the appetite / interest for the varying TET offroad surfaces?
Traditionally it’s just the highlights no?
