131kg/289lbs wet and £7800 ($10,399) according to the article.
Will be interesting to see if it kickstarts the 450 dual sport market.
Here's to hoping!

Re: Honda 450L
I'm trying really hard to understand the hype around this bike. Isn't it just a newer wr or klr, or a 'soft' 450exc? Enlighten me guys
Current bike is a Yamaha T7
Re: Honda 450L
I've found the 250 version an excellent day in day out commuter, an extra 20bhp would make it perfect. It's not for some of you guys but my biggest priority on my main means of transport is reliability, I have a CCM for constant maintenance
All I want to be doing is putting fuel in it, occasionally oil, with the odd chain adjustment every couple of weeks

Re: Honda 450L
That could be just the ticket. It's taken a long time for the majors to hear our call for an up-to-date DRZ400. Perhaps this is it. Even better if it's based on the enduro/mx bike frame/suspension. What so many off-roaders want is a bike that handles really nicely off-road, weighs as little as possible but can also carry luggage and requires less maintenance than the enduro bikes. A beefed up, more aggressive CRF250L with 20bhp more but the same long distance characteristics would be perfect.

Yeah it looks perfect on paper. I'd guess it will cost a lot more than the 250.chunky butt wrote: ↑Wed May 23, 2018 6:38 pm Reckon that'll be really popular.....big distance trail bike, long as its priced right
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Re: Honda 450L
Initially it looks good, but it's still oil and filter every 600 miles or so and less than a 2 gallon tank. Damn!
Not all those wandering are lost
