Can’t see any reason why I would want to change my Explorer, but I would like to change my aluminium framed Bianchi for a carbon fibre framed Bianchi. Other than that, couldn’t be happier. Kids are grown up, mortgage is paid off, weather’s due to get better later this week. Counting my blessings. Still want that Bianchi though.

Apart from Sunday breakfast once a month we have no definite plans for trips this year so there's nothing I need to change them for.
Our Son (25) is looking to get a mortgage and his dream of doing his direct access will get put on the back burner yet again so I would sooner support him to get his licence and a first bike instead of another garage queen for myself. We did a Father and Son road trip on my Gs to Barcelona when he was 16 and it would be great to do the same again but with him riding his own bike (or my Wife's MT07) 8-)

I'm very happy with my 2016 Super Ten, does everything I ask of it, I did dabble with a KL250 and a DRZ400E and I'm not sure if I've scratched the off road itch enough but the next addition is likely to be something like a 1200RT which will suit the advanced tutoring I'm planning on doing.

After about 20 bikes over the last 20 years my last three have all been Kawasaki Versys 650's, currently on a Mk2 after selling the Mk3 to raise some funds for number one Son's wedding and newborn, but would love to get back on a Mk3 sometime in the future, till then the Mk2 will suffice (which makes me realise I need to update my avatar!)

Greetings,

1975 Norton Commando MkIII 850 Interstate; 1994 Triumph 900 Trophy; both from new, plus 2003 Beta Alp 4.0 and my little 2002 Serow 225.

To be honest the two road bikes have not been out for years, I preferred to ride them in France, but one day soooooooooooon

What else would I need :?:

KTM 1190 Adv S has been great, I love riding it wether I’m trundling along, touring or playing with the power rangers. I love my KTM's having had a 990SM before after a long run of Honda's, they get under your skin.
It’s still a big lump so last year I bought a CX500 to convert into a scrambler just for knocking about on. Plan was the do it over the winter but it never happened. Tomorrow it’s in for what will probably be it’s last MOT as it’s a 1979 bike and will be 40 years old next time round. There was nothing special about the bike went it was new and nothing has changed but it makes me chuckle ever time I ride it. Compared to the KTM it’s basic but honest and a lot less power but it’s still fun to ride because of that.

Yes, yes and yes, my dream bike and there is nothing I would change it for.
Finally back on a GS :D
