Boots for big feet

Post by Timbo65 » Tue Jan 23, 2018 7:49 pm

I currently use Klim Snowmobile boots but would like a decent pair of adventure boots. Because of a bike accident I change gear using a klictronic so not worried about feel or flexibility, just comfort. Any recommendations ?

I’m a size 13 (big enough?), wear Forma Adventure boots. I have two pairs, one for everyday commuting and another for off road. Great boots.

I'm using some of these Wulfsport efforts at the mo'. Good price and comfortable in size 12.

The Formas look almost identical to my excellent W2 4dirt boots.
I’ve had them about 5 years now and they are all day, day in day out comfy and have only let a couple of drips in when doing a long water crossing.

a size 13 wide fitting I have real problems getting something wide enough plus actual physical fit quite often bears no resemblance to the number on the boot ie my tech 3 off road boots size 16. eventually bit the bullet and went to altberg a pair of extra wide 13 road boots with custom calf(big calfs) came in at just under £300, my brother has had a pair of alt bergs for over 20 years and show little sign of wear
