An engine to help me learn

I've just been reading about this engine and have seen that it features in many of the Chinese 125s, sinnis etc so seems ideal to start me off. Are there any haynes manuals for the chinese versions or would you go with one for a honda engined bike?

Its the other clone engine to the one sinnis use, its the same as most of the lifan bikes.

There's basically 2 common engine clones in different sizes, the CG clone with push rods and the Suzuki GS engine clones that use a cam chain (sinnis and the like use these)

The Haynes manual is titled something like Chinese 125 motorcycles, not too much in about other bits of the bikes but a fair bit about the engines.

I'm actually over by newtown on boxing Day and stopping the night so not a million miles away on the 27th, like I said I've got 2 spare engines and a complete bike, that's road registered, with all manner of spares (I got rid of the spare frame) if you wanted the lot £50 would do it just to get it out of my way

I bought a 2005 Hongdu Chituma GY200 and got their manual but also use a Haynes one for the XL/XR range as the GY200 is a copy of the XR200 I was told

I have a 2014 CRF250 engine sitting in the garage, filings were in the oil & it won't hand crank to TDC. I needed the bike running so did a straight swap over from one I found on eBay.

It might be an easy fix, it might be completely b*lloxed but you would certainly learn something. Workshop manual is an easily available download. You would need to arrange collection from just north of London but yours for a donation to this. It's currently sitting gathering spiders!
