Apparently not available until some time next year(KTM that is)--and no idea of price (my local KTM dealer)--can't help feeling that it will simply take sales from the bigger V twins--but maybe that's the idea. They are very late to the party with this--so its got to be good. I also think that they are really missing the boat with no lightweight adventure bike yet-its still too big and too powerful (and probably too expensive) for genuine offroad --unless you are 6ft and can can ride like Knighter-although there are rumours that the 390 engine and base frame will be used. BMW's 310 GS at just over 5k seems a good deal--and with Rally Raid changing the wheel size they should end up with the perfect environmentally friendly adventure bike for the 21st century.

2019, FFS what's the point in "unveiling" a prototype a year before they mean to sell the production bike!

Why have they gone to a parallel twin? This will just a big disappointment the same as the AT. It will also be 200kg or even more. So once again they have missed the mark. The other funny thing is the way KTM stated there power stat's one in imperial and the other in metric? Obvious why. Look at the sub frame that's going to take luggage and a crash .........not! Help me out here is there a parallel twin on the market that actually blows your skirt up, maybe the high torque Triumphs, but then they lack top end. KTM stop trying to re invent the wheel, the 690 engine would have been perfect for this concept. But they have here is a bike that will be heavier and slower than a 15 year old model of there own!!

Can you explain the connection between wheel size and it being environmentally friendly? I’ve not heard of this before.
