Had a great days riding in the late summer, but Friday the 13th October proved to be not a good day for the Battery on the KTM, it cut the ride short, but still had a great day.
The trails and scenary up there is fantastic, and a great spot at 2000m for a bit of a packed lunch.
The little Honda CRF250L performed very well in these trails.
Total distance for the day was 280km with about 60 km on the trails.

Great video as usual Willie Spray!!!
Those free trails from wikiloc.com in Spain sure are a great way to explore.
One-off battery fire is a weird occurrence I must say.
Ken looks nonplussed
Keep at it.

Re: RB1 Trail from Bossost
Certainly warmed the seat!! Would have been ok in Winter, but at 25C up at 2000m Its not what you really wanted, to warm your backside!! But managed to get the KTM back to France without lights!! A bit of a nervous experience in Spain with all the Guardia and Controls!! But this time no fine!!! Lithium Batteries not sure, but certainly stink when on fire
Followed the RB1, then explored a bit off the route and found the old mine. Great trails up there. Did some with Phil a few years back.
Ken is loving his Green KLX, great little Dual-Sport bike for these type of trails, always a good 2hrs ride to get there, and another 2hrs to ride back!! So a nice 11 hour day on the little bikes..

Re: RB1 Trail from Bossost
Great stuff !!!
( As an aside Willie Spray.....we had our weekly Monday beer o'clock with the EDC today.......we're looking to scout tedious, aggravating and annoying routes for the 2018 Maroc ride out. We even have a tedious climbing route that parallels the Cirque de Jaffar route that the normal tourists take.
For example.....there's a route that took us over two hours to cover 1.5 km odd that we want to include. You've ridden same. You could guide if you wanted to....you know the ropes.
If we could ride those easy Spanish trails to get ones eye in on the way down courtesy of the free wikiloc.com routes.......then we were thinking we could continue in the same mode to attack the tedious Maroc trails....planning on a 3 or possibly 4 week max ride out next time just to make it more annoying. There's an annoyingly aggravating single track moto route I know over the High Atlas where the locals don'rteven speak French!!!..........take this in and we're good to go!!!!! )

Re: RB1 Trail from Bossost
That's a great trail. Did it back in June & the highlight was going along the spur at the top. A 7 km trail to an awesome viewpoint.
