As others have said the smells you experience but can also be a downside too when the farmers are muck spreading.
Warm sun on you
Constant interaction with the environment you're riding through

Re: Top 3 best feelings on a bike
Having tried to recreate some of those feelings already mentioned, by watching some old GoPro footage from last year's trip on the wide screen TV, through a Dyson bladeless fan, in the comfort of my own living room having liberally sprayed some of the wife's eau'd cologne about and opening a bottle of Toilet Duck pine fresh, which incidentally made me feel quite nauseous. I came to the conclusion that it's all about riding through scenery far from the madding crowd, in good weather, with the only appointment being with destiny. The opposite also applies to the other thread. Riding in shite weather, through a busy city, late for wherever you're heading.

1. stood in the lane at the port waiting to get on the ferry/chunnel
2.when the two wheel slide stops before you run out of road/trail and you never even thought about rolling the throttle
3.climbing off the bike after a full day of riding knowing that the first beer is only minutes away

1) managing to swing my leg over without catching my boot on the seat!
2)when it will starts
3) getting off the stand without dropping it !
Once you get that far the trauma is over.
