XR400R 2000my red. Deposit taken!

Hi all,

I have an XR400RY X reg (2000) in red 8541kms/5307miles. 5 previous owners, and (rarely) is standard spec and unmolested.
The MOT certificates that I have appear to give reassurance that the mileage is correct and reads as follows…..

29/04/17 8541 kms
19/05/15 6542 kms
22/05/14 4638 kms
04/01/13 4315 kms
(Unused, in storage)
25/11/06 4291 kms

Plus.....
MOT till April 28 2018
Good Michelin AC10's front and rear
Rear shock was rebuilt March 2015
New iridium plug
Valve clearances recently checked
Oil and filter just been changed, inc cleaning frame filter
New gold JT X Ring chain and carbon steel sprockets (14/45)
Braided front brake pipe (Venhill)
Keyed ignition lock with 2 keys
Steering lock with 2 keys
New clutch cable fitted
New front disc & pads
New rear pads

Minus.....
Non standard headlight assy
Couple of small tears in seat cover
The air box snorkel has been removed
Age related marks/scuffs on the plastics and frame that you'd expect for an off road bike
It passed the MOT ok but could do with the wheel bearings being changed at some stage, I will include them in the sale

I’m a mature owner (53) I bought it for green laning with the TRF.
This now reluctantly has to go as it is unused and I am running out of room.

I’d like £2100.00 ono for the bike, it will come with a thick heavy duty ally sump guard & rear luggage rack.

I know this bike and have ridden with Tony aka Dirtmonkey (who is an mechanic by trade) who has owned this beauty for a good number of years.

A very good option for anyone thinking of a Morocco type trip as they are really bullet proof, however equally at home on the byways.
