Changing tyres

I am now due a new rear tyre, have a heidenau K60 on the rear and it has lastet a year, just
However rather than letting the bike shop take care of it I thought I could get some tools, order
a tyre online and attempt changing myself to get the practice.
So what tyre levers do people use, recommend? I would like to get some that I can pack with me on the bike.
Anything else I should get aswell for changing tyres?

Buzzetti tyre levers, the longest you can carry with you and tyre paste. You also might want a valve puller to save your knuckles.

+1 on the valve puller. Saves scraping your knuckles and makes life so much easier.

Some sort of pump and a pressure gauge

make sure that the valve puller you carry fits through the holes in your wheels, the fir one I bought was too big - carried it around for months before I found out it was wrong size (external diameter)

I use the lightweight motion pro ones - the bead break function really works and they can stashed easily on the bike.

+1 for what JohnnyBravo said. The Motion Pro Bead Pro tools were all I needed to break the bead and switch out a tyre. Pricey but worth it I reckon.
