Klim Dakar Pants - Alternative

Post by djskinner »

Can anyone recommend an alternative to the Klim Dakar Pants (over the boot)?

I've been looking at getting some but my size of the old version seems to be out of stock everywhere and whilst the new version is now release Adventure Spec is quoting out of stock until 11th September. I'm heading to Spain on 10th September so that's not going to work. Had a saves search on eBay for the last couple of weeks too but nothing has come up.

Ventilation / abrasion resistance are the primary things I'm looking for as well as fitting over MX boots and generally being suitable for off-road.

Yeah, I checked their website and even contracted them if I remember correctly because I wanted to try a pair on and they're not to far for me. I'm looking for Black 32" but they only have 30" or 38" in grey.

Depends how much you want to pay but you could order from the likes of Revzilla and pony up the import duty
https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/klim-dakar-pants

Code: Select all

Revzilla on the face of it looked like the way to go. That is, until you factor in the 22.5% VAT and import duty. As I've never had the opportunity to try a pair on ordering from the US might turn out very expensive if I need to return it.

I'll try and find somewhere in the UK that sells the moose racing gear.

Cheers
