Yep this little backwater i live in has finally made it to the 18th century :laugh:

Ive a spare english plate as you expats are so fond of using old uk stuff lol...and we better not break the new one on friday lol...
And im.sure the pirate Bob would.like your old one for special occassions...wink wink.

Not yet Bob but because i'm running up through FR i thought it best to get one , the law only came a couple of days ago ...........i've kept my old plate and it'll probably slip back on by accident :whistle:

Its hard to tell - is it just a bigger plate withe same size text or is everything bigger? This is to improve NPR cameras ability to identify you - over here we mount tax disc holders on them...

YEP it's so the sneeky bastards can make more money from cameras and it all about 30% bigger

Not had any info on this one Phil!!
On the Dakar it's 21x13cm and the CRF it's 17x14cm.
What size is the new regulation ??

They also want it to sit at about 30 degrees angle so the cameras can see it better.
Regs came in on 1st July for French motos. €135 fine if it's not the proper size,and if you get lippy about it all they can impound your moto. I have replaced my 3 inch by 3 enduro sized plate a long time ago, on the XT.
