I am weighing up some options remarkably early for me...
I quite fancy the HISS At Pobla in early September again, as I missed out last year for various reasons. However, while I am a thoroughly miserable old git who is quite happy to ride from Shropshire to Pobla on his own, it's nice to share costs on F1 Premier Classe type accommodation there and back.
So, is anyone pondering a ride down? As regulars know, I ride a rather scruffy Honda 400, happy to sit on the Frog D roads at 90kph all day and ok at 120 on the motorways if required. I have done the route down from Caen/St Malo with a single night stop, but it's hard the following day... Back, not such a problem, or if you catch an overnight boat either way again it's possible to do one stop...

Re: September HISS, who's going?
I was very disappointed when I thought I wouldn't be going this year because of the shenanigans with dates, so on and so forth, now it looks like it could be a very distinct possibility! Got a lot of miles to do before that though...

Getting a ferry booking there may be an issue
Supply was short a few months back when I was looking
Ended up getting talked into a 2 week tour of Scotland instead
Weather should be similar
Enjoy

Just watch those Dolomite roads, once ridden, fall in love....
