I've got an F800GS 2015 and have just gone to fit a headlamp guard. There are two torx bolts (one either side of the headlamp) which you remove to fit the guard. What I have noticed is that the headlamp will move up and down just by using your hand (with a little force), even with the bolts tightened up fully.
I've not fitted the guard yet as wanted to know if this is normal or not first. Any advice appreciated.

I've just checked and mine doesn't move up and down.

Ok thanks. I'm guessing that I might need to tighten them up a bit more. Just wanted to check first though. Thanks for taking the time to check.

Do you have the rubber washers between the lamp and the frame? They will hold it solid with not too much torque.KTM Deano wrote:I've got an F800GS 2015 and have just gone to fit a headlamp guard.
