Off on my jollies tomorrow

Post by vRSG60 »

Only a weekend away but I'm looking forward to it.
Hull > Rotterdam Friday evening ferry.
Saturday Rotterdam > Nürburgring. 2 night at the fabulous Pension Diana.
I'll get a lap in while I'm there & also plan a trip to Koblenz, probably on Sunday.
Monday evening ferry Rotterdam > Hull.

There's a couple of mates gone in cars last night.
I'll meet them there & come back on the same ferry.

Excellent - Love getting the Norf Sea Ferries!

We used to catch the ferries last minute, for pennies, as teens, living in 'Hull, and bugger off to Amsterdam for the weekend

A few years ago, me and my old man went to the World Cup in Germany, and the ferry was FULL of Engerland fans - it was a great atmosphere...

When we arrived in Rotterdam, someone had set up a mobile radio station in their campervan, and were playing Three Lions over an illegal FM radio net - every car, van, bike, and camper on the boat was tuned in to it - and had their radios on full blast - as we drove off the ferry..

Only for the Dutch plod to wave every single vehicle over for a breath test

I can tell you now, slowly ;-)
Too many loons flying around.
I've been round before on my F650GS.
