Off to Dornoch (Scotland) tomorrow, rented a caravan at the local site for a few days, this will be used as a base to explore the north of Scotland.
Grateful that the weather has got a bit warmer.
Probably go up via Fort William and the great glen.

B roads on the east side of Loch Ness are much nicer than the A82, unless you have to Castle Urquhart.Dark Knight wrote: Probably go up via Fort William and the great glen.

Re: Dornoch
The caravan at Grannies park proved to be excellent, residential type, sleeps six, one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a couch type bed, full size cooker and fridge freezer/ microwave and reasonable size shower all for £120 for four nights.
One caravan back from the beach.
ASda and self service petrol 15 Kms down the road at Tain.
We used it as a base to cut across country using the single track roads to Ullapool and Durness.
