Update .......confirmed with WK today it needs a WK diagnostic tester to reset fault codes, goes into the spare plug under the seat. 1. Apply WOT (full throttle)
2. Turn ignition key to ON position.
3. Wait until the red FI/F1 light illuminates (be patient as this can take longer than normal).
4. As soon as red F1 appears,
5. Flick the kill switch to the 'ON' ignition position (meaning starter button won't work).
6. Let go of the WOT (throttle).
7. Wait several seconds.
8. Turn ignition key OFF.
9. Flick kill switch back to ignition ON position.
This doesn't work on the 400 unfortunately

Yeah I got mine for £2500 which at the time was a punt, as I had no idea the quality and how long it would last. Now after 7 months and a couple of thousand miles I would not have been unhappy if it had been £3-3.5k, but I think £4700 is just too much for this bike and the current quality and fittings.netsonic wrote:Blimey ?????????? :pinch:hmy:

just thought i would feedback on my punt at tweeking the TPS, ........first task was to get its baseline, mine turned out at .72 volts at idle. Moved to .74 gave it a run, mmmmmmm all good, less snatch, smoother tick-over then back home for tweek number 2, moved to .76 not so good stalled more so back home and back to .74, out for a run it seems ive found a sweet spot, will report back over the next few weeks on how it runs but so far feels better on mine and its made a noticeable difference. Not saying it will be the same on all WK400's its just my view on what i found and when i spoke to WK they had no information on the expected TPS range or setting so always check where it is before any adjustments, its really sensitive so lots of patience needed. If anyone wants to have a go happy to give more info on how to do this.....lots of info on the web if not
