The bike was easierly able to do Morocco, I'll go through what we did in a little Wright up

The WK has now entered the 'cutting out ' phase 
Seems to be when fuel is below half and slowing down for a r/a or junction after a straight. Pull the clutch in for a downshift, mostly from 3-2 gear. Four times and not once would it bump when I released the clutch so had to coast then fired on a prod of the button.
It did it a week ago but bumped itself to life again.
One time was on the flyover from the A45 to A43, nearly got rammed by a white van man :woohoo:

Hi Tyrant I think you hit the nail on the head, mine is doing the same. Went for an 80 mile ride today and cut out twice coming up to a junction changing down the gears. I also had half a tank or less. Interestingly mine does bump start if I get the clutch out quick enough before I have to pull up at the junction. Did a 120 mile trip last week from a full tank and no cutting out ?????. I’m getting around 200 miles from a tank not brimmed.... with 4-6 litres left after said 200 miles. I pumped out what was left this afternoon to check. Bike runs fine except for this irritation. I’ve removed the brown gasket a while back in the fuel cap to allow the tank to breath and it seemed to be fine with no cutting out until today. I also installed an iridium plug a while back if we were to compare notes. I’ve done just over 100 miles so can’t imagine it’s the fuel pump so hoping someone cleverer than me can think where to look as it may be a bit of a design fault if others are getting this issue

Funny how the first few hundred miles I had no problems.
Re fuel gauge. Mine flashes when you can still slosh it around in the tank ,. Has anyone carried on riding for more miles?

Drilling a hole in the filler cap seems to have sorted the issues on mine until the fuel gets really low. I managed 250 miles till the fuel ran out (luckily just round the corner from a petrol station), that was with a lot of short journeys though. Rode it from Derby to London and back, via minor roads, with no issues.
Just a thought, are your drain lines from the filler neck clear. I believe this is the way the tank vents. I will try and take some photos of the cap to illustrate.
Hard luck about the finger graham. I only vaguely know Paul but he mentioned that his morrocco trip had been good apart from someone damaging there fingers.
