Hi lads ,just remember the drink drive laws are different in Scotland . It's more or less zero .so sit safe .Al (thumbs)

Very good point and a good reminder for me when I'm up there later this year.

I'd normally have a single pint before riding / driving as my absolute max, looks like I won't be this summer!

I wont touch a drop while riding a bike, is a single pint really worth the risk?

i don't drink and drive also think al is saying watch what you are doing the night before. (thumbs)

Stupid law

You could have a meal in Longtown (England), have 2 normal beers and be under the English alcohol limit,having been stopped by a Cumbria Police car & take a breath test, pass it and then continue to drive 3 miles over the border, towards Langholm on the A7 and be stopped by a Police Scotland car, then fail the breath test in Scotland
