Apaart from Paolo Ceci there is pretty much no one about who would want to race one of these in the desert. Total BS.

,Mike I agree with you its all image ,it's the same as 4x4,s .one of my nabours has a merc g wagon ,it looks like a Dakar entrant ,
the only time it's been off road ,when it's parked on the pavement at waitrose byres Rd, :P :P ;)

I like the styling of this bike but there's nothing about it that would tempt me away from my 990.

Come on Mike, you know there are plenty who would claim they could use it, but I prefer the Africa Queens one and I know I could use it :lol: :P

Well, Dakar bikes these days are close to 200kg wet but before 450cc limit they were even heavier so pretty much similar as new AT. Plenty of riders took them to the desert.
