just change the filters on a porsche k&n and noticed the air and oil filters where made in china, had to check the serial codes to make sure they where not copies

K&N moved production to China.

Avoid buying the spin-off filters with the nut spot-welded on the end...the metal's so thin they are known to spring leaks under the welds.
