yep ..only one that was enough ..they are very similar to a t63 ..small blocks limited bite but miles better than the o/es gary but not aggresive enough for me
they wore very quick in to triangles ..its such a shame that the e09 front is not up to matching the rear

and off road the 644 is twice the tyre in terms of grip miles better

anothe option on the front and rear is the pirelli m21s pretty dam good but dont last as well particulary the front that wears in a paculiur way but on the crf i bet they would do pretty well
there is honesly aint many i havnt tried ..m21s are good tyres (thumbs)

I used MT21's on DR. Not bad. But prefer a smaller block.

+1 for the Mitas tyres, I went with the C02 and mine fitted the original wheels perfectly and just miss the rubber spring cover when new so all is well. I got the 110/100-18 as the original IPC were struggling with wet grass (thumbs). As for road rumble I've not found it noticeable even though they're a bit coarser tread than the E09.

I've also run a Pirelli MT43 on the bike and nothing seems to stop it

ive seen a few lads using the m43 and read a lot on them ...just cant bite the bullet
we went to wales last year and chris had a set on ..we were slipping all over the place on welsh slate and chris just romped up on those tyres they seem supream in wet rocks ...just a bit dubiouse for all the other stuff ..one trick pony or enough grip in mud ?? maby i should bite the bulet and try some

they are much better than the o/es gary ..and ride nice on the road ..the 644s big blocks mean they feel a bit skittish when new but they do settle down to be reliable with out a great deal of feedback ..but reliable if used sensibly

as they say theres no replacment for displacment ..give em 500 miles and they are perfectly ok i have done big milages on the tyre ..im used to them avoid silly cornering and late braking and they chug along just fine for me theres nowt worse than bowling along and then hitting a a damp puddle with soft sand undernieth with shite tyres on ..a sudden change of surface happens and i want some insurance attached to the front of the bike ..i bin me front tyres at 50 percent use most of the time ..trying to get another 15 quids worth out of them isnt my idea of a good idea ...fortunatly there cheap two a year at 50 quid isnt the end of the world (thumbs)

at first glance the tyre looks servicable and is ..it would easy go twice the distance if needed ..but i know its lost its big block bite ..its done around 6000 plus miles ...its cheap insurance ..yes im cautoius and maby a bit early changing the tyre ,,,but early has got to be better than late ,,the tyre works well and i just cant argue with it for the sake of 50 quid ..great tyre for upright missionary position grip ..not a great slideways tyre but im a staedy trail rider ..trust it 100 percent going forward in horrible shite (thumbs)

I just realised that I have tried trials tyres ... on my TTR600 :blink: .
Short of cash (as usual) I had them fitted by my local vg tyre fitter. He took a couple of hours potching, re-fitting, the two. :S
No wonder .. I realise now, looking at the Mitas site, that they were trials tyres, and tubeless!! [with tubes fitted], to tube type rims. he had two goes at each and didn't charge me much either, but warned me to `go steady` (looking nervous) and that they were very soft compound and would not last long.
They must have been ET01.

on tarmac they were unbelievably unstable (roundabutts wow)
on trails they were unbelievably stable, and felt good, especially the front, which felt firm and confidence-inspiring. (I never tried them in really deep mud tho, or really wet conditions.)

Slow speed crash on the road in between green lanes road frame now bent in where the foot peg is welded on foot peg now on a angle do i heat it and pull it out or put in an assurance claim handle bars need replacing also

If you put in an insurance claim, the bike will be written off as it'll need a new frame

I'm not sure heating up will pull it out new frame will be expensive
