Garmin Zumo Bluetooth between Units

Post by fraserdog »

I have a Garmin Zumo 340LM and have recently Bought a used Zumo 590LM,i have a lot of routes saved on the 340LM and was wondering if it can be Bluetoothed to the 590LM as i can't see anyway of doing it or doesn't the Bluetooth work that way on a Garmin between units?

If they wont connect between each other you may be able to pair to a phone and transfer the data that way. I am not familiar with either unit but was trying to do it recently with a Montana and failing. http://www.garmin.com/en-GB/ble

I'm a bit of a div when it comes to technology and just thought as both units are bluetooth enabled they would "talk" to each other but they don't even recognise each exist. Thanks for the link,if all else fails i can always use an SD card between both.

probably your best option (thumbs)
if all else fails ask on the zumo forum (thumbs)
http://www.zumoforums.com/

you could always use base camp down load from 390 and upload to 590
