while we await the EBC brake review from mac10biker just though i would mention this link

http://geon-club.com.ua/forum/viewtopic ... 132&t=4610

Im sure if you own a WK400 as i do you would have found this on the interweb, its 16 pages of a guy in the Ukraine owning the Geon equivalent of the WK with some interesting and detailed info on the ownership throughout his 12000km of riding-its in Russian but your PC should translate as mine does and although its does not always translate perfectly you will get the gist of his views..............last page is interesting as they appear to have a taller screen available for the Geon which would be good.........if you also go to the forum link at the top of the Geon page it will also take you to other Geon Grandtour 400 write up of varying things...........i found it all very interesting and very useful

Cheers netsonic, useful info on that link.

It reminded me my fuel sensor bolts also needed tightening up as there was very slight weep, gently tightening up on their mounting bolts and all was well.

I've been thinking of using an small 5mm allen key (you get S shaped ones in flat pack furniture) and attach it to my key ring somehow. But his alternative seat mounting D ring bolt is a nice idea, though I notice he later changed to a normal bolt ...

WK & UK Press websites info suggested the petrol tank holds 16 or 18 Litres, but he reckons 21L ! :
'I am testing the sensor readings and check the capacity of the tank filling 2 liters of gasoline.
Once again confirms the tank has a capacity of 21 liters.

Indications tidy after podginaniya float.
_21-15 Liters in the tank = 5 bar (absolute)
_15-11 liters in the tank = 4 points
_11- 8 liters in the tank = 3 points
_8-6 liters in the tank = 2 division
_6-4 liters in the tank = 1 division and Morgan Morgan control light. '

As it happens my petrol tank is drained at the moment as I'm looking into fuel pump replacement options to carry a spare on long rides (just in case), so it'll be interesting to see how many litres mine takes to totally fill up.

Also I've been in touch with mac10biker and Jon @ EBC about WK 400 rear brake pads and Jon reports:

'had a reply from my other contact re rear pads and no they could not recognise it – so this will have to be a new EBC part number ( will use FA697 ) and will try and track down a new set of pads and tool it up- but this will take time, mainly trying to source the sample new pad.'

I wonder if the Shiray X5 [XY400GY] pads are the same size?

Glenn would it be possible to take a picture or two of the fuel pump and let us know if its simple to remove, main ask is to see how easy the filter is to clean, i had some bits in my tank from new which i pumped out via the petrol then filtered it twice before replacing it but think i should check the fuel pump filter in due course.

Hi Suddy,
Wasn't that heartbroken as I knew the WK was coming. New owner has another and knows them inside out.
