Jelly..you got off lucky mate..as the plain is closed down we have a suprise installed especially for you..wiltshire gravel..2" deep..like riding on marbels..

or the chalk/flint of tollard royal..your choice..

I was going to when it was first discussed but as we are meeting at 08:30 and I live 125 miles from the RV I'll be making a b line for it using motorways.

hey russ you got a rough gpx of the route? will have to check what maps i've got at home... think i should be okay but i know i have a map-less hole somewhere around the plains... luckily the guy downstairs works for OS so should be able to furnish what i don't have...

I have a Landranger map NO 184 that covers most of Salisbury and the Plain, only goes as far north as Market Lavington. Not sure how far north Russ intends to take us though.
