Re: WK400 owners thread.
As Im nearer Manchester than London I have used the ebay ask a question in regard to the bike advertised.Responses have been spotty and somewhat odd,so for those still intersted
Despite the advert stating "This bike still looks, sounds and rides amazingly " it appears from the last response just now that "the bike has no fluids and a missing engine cover" "it sustained light damage in the workshop. Without the engine cover on, the oil leaks out."
ergo is not a ride away option.
Oh and £1400 was acceptable if you want to low ball the offer

It does reduce in length by removing end pouches. Forgot I have another, smaller I bought from Aldi last year, which is perfect.Grahamkevinbutler wrote:Looks a bit big tyrant, I bought a small bag with a small capacity just to hold a few things, not a big fan of tank bags but sometimes they do have there usesTyrant68 wrote: Bought this Oxford tank bag off a local selling site. I'm about 5ft 5 so building up the back, luggage wise, won't help mounting /dismounting for me and after owner a 640 adv , I don't trust sidestands for getting on/off

Same problem myself 5-6, you can reduce the height by about 1.5 inches if you turn the two red rear shock big nuts out, the bike sits better with the suspension set up correctly, just need to have some decent weather to test everything before MoroccoTyrant68 wrote:It does reduce in length by removing end pouches. Re: WK400 owners thread.
Did some mods this week while its been raining, new foam grips, they are acually sleeves that go over the originals, should be more comfortable, not tried them yet. Also fitted some sturdy hand guards, origonals ok but do wang a bit over the bumps so opted for some acerbis lool a likies......half the price of acerbis and seem just as good, got a nice white graphic as well. They do need a bit of fettling to fit well and helped to feed my ocd. Need to trim back the piece that joins the inner part of the guard to the the bar so its not so close to the screen and still works with the steering stops and steering lock, i took 5mm off each and very small tweek on the steeriing nuts and all good. Also the clutch lever is to long, its 185mm needs to be 170mm or less, went for trimming the ball off but wanted to keep a bit of shape so it looks less chopped more by design, lots of filing and a bit of satin black and looks good. Also moved clutch lever bracket in about 4mm.

Re: WK400 owners thread.
Fitted a pair of progrip pillow grips and fro donuts.
Yes, put the right grip on the right side, but the throttle side is now tight and is slow to return.
It'll make for an interesting ride tomorrow.
The throttle side was perfect length but near side 10mm too short.
Got to be better than the concrete originals

Re: WK400 owners thread.
O dear.!! .. trim the throttle grip so it returns freely. OR..
Perhaps the RHS bolt for holding on the RHS hand protector needs pulling out 10 mm ? then re-tightening.
