I used a Max case from Trifibre to make a neat little topbox. They are a bit lighter than Pelicase but have the same IP67 waterproof rating. And are very much cheaper.

To mount it I bonded a sheet of aluminium to the underside, drilled holes through to line up with those holding my pannier rack to the sub-frame, and replaced with longer bolts and large washers. All holes were liberally sealed with marine sealant. I am currently adding a rack to the lid and hook plates to the sides to give some further carrying options.
