only the essientials are being done,
I.E. tank ,forks and seals brakes, and a rebore all because a spark plug tip failed and the previous owner didn't know,
was lucky that it went straight out of the exhaust valve and, only marked the bore,
gone from standard to +20 to clear marks,
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about

Nice project viince (thumbs)
One of my favorite bikes. According to Bert Hopwood's book, the Trident could've been launched about 6yrs earlier? And they already had plans for ohc,and with a bit of 'forward thinking'?? And then came along John Bloor!

Re: been busy with the trident
having had triples from the 70's
1974 ish
1986 ish
needed another fix
so bought this re imported t150v sept 1975
photos of when I brought it home (thumbs)
as you can see only a little tlc to bring it up to scratch
indicated 3900 miles,
from what I've seen from close inspection it seems to be genuine miles
jobs done to commission it for the road
front forks = new seals
front brakes seized = new caliper rubber pipes and
new tyres = tt100's
mot'd and number obtained from dvlcn
having used it for a couple of months it decided to smoke
on inspection found scores to the centre pot,
caused by some time before I owned it a plug tip failed
luckily the tip only scored the barrel and straight out the valves
plus 20 rebore cleared the scores
so shouldn't smoke again fully
video's to follow
these are when I first got it home and started it
