it supposed o be budget solution, full blown racetech is like twice or more the cost of hyperpro springs only. If your're not racing spring will be fine.

For this bike BTW I would not go with very expensive setup, to heavy and underpowered anyway for anything fancy. Waste of money.

I have to disagree with Robson--and agree with Minky--every bike is different for one. I agree the CRF 250L is a "budget" bike, but when they skip on suspension it really shows on the trails (on the road it really doesn't make much difference). You can put up with it, but when its sorted the smiles come back, the ride is more comfortable, the confidence returns etc--and a couple of hundred on what is nearly a 4k bike now is not a lot--just a set of tyres and chain and sprockets. Most of the so called "budget" bikes are really on/offroad compromises for a world market of unpaved roads--and they do that job well. We are just a fringe group who throw them at the scenery a bit more--and to be honest I don't think we are trying to make an enduro bike out of something that its clearly not and will still run at speeds where we can smell the flowers--and with a sorted bike will be less knackered at the end of the day--especially if you are on the trail for days on end with full camping gear etc.

minkyhead wrote:like they say robson the best you ride is the best you know stick 30kgms of luggage on it and then dissapear in to the bulgarian/albanian woods for ten days then you may appreicate the differnce ..but i doubt it somehow in your case :(

what you need is to get that 250exc adv bike sorted .as you know .the chassis and suspension are ready made for such use ,, and it will be the lightest adv bike in existance ..brilliant B) hows it coming along  ?
and you just showed you don't know what are you talking about, progressive suspension is way batter is such situations (changing load, changing conditions, terrain etc) and more adventure bikes move toward it now but you don't know that :(

From what I seen of your clips you could as well ride in your woods on a scooter in that pace. No shame of that though, I have seen in Morocco high in mountains local on scooter while we're riding on big adv bikes. :silly:
